Michael B. Jordan will lead The Thomas Crown Affair remake

It looks like Hollywood is finally catching up with public opinion of Michael B. Jordan, in that he's a phenomenal actor. He was certainly one of the shining stars of CHRONICLE and carried that leading man charisma over to last year's CREED, FANTASTIC FOUR be damned! MGM has noticed this and has chosen Jordan to lead their newest iteration of THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR. While Jordan may be a touch younger than Pierce Brosnan and Steve McQueen before him, he is certainly no less skilled!

If you need a refresher, the original film followed a debonair and adventuresome bank executive who believes he has pulled off the perfect multi-million dollar heist, only to match wits with a sexy insurance investigator who will do anything to get her man. Both Faye Dunaway and Rene Russo proved to be perfect matches for their leading men, so I'm looking forward to seeing who MGM pairs up with the mighty Jordan!

Gotta love a good heist flick!
