Michael Bay gets his revenge and takes a pass on Megan Fox for Transformers 3?

UPDATE 3!!! People.com is now reporting that it was Megan Fox’s own decision to quit. Sigh. The plot thickens. For those who don’t really care, check out these pics!

UPDATE 2: The Wrap is confirming that Fox is out and reporting that PRINCE OF PERSIA star Gemma Arterton is the frontrunner to replace her in the third film…

UPDATE: We might have to call bullshit on this one courtesy of our own MovieHotties team. An article including pictures of Fox on set was posted by Randy the Ram at the beginning of this month. Maybe she was just chilling with her homies on set, but our insider says, “It just doesn’t make any sense to me that she’d be on set even if it was pre-vis work if she’s not going to be in the movie.” Usually if Bay makes any huge decisions like this, he will post them on his website. If and when we get an official confirmation, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Remember when Megan Fox decided to compare her director for both TRANSFORMERS films, Michael Bay to Hitler? Here’s exactly what she said to refresh your memory, “God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”

She went loose alright.

Bay simply responded with, “She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old, and she still has a lot of growing up to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want.”

Well now he’s having the last laugh. Paramount will not be picking up Fox for TRANSFORMERS 3. This was a decision made by Bay. Right now the script for the film is being finished up and is “giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story”. Casting for this new lady starts immediately.

I wouldn’t feel sorry for Fox. She’ll still get casted in other films. More ass shots to come.
