More Avengers 2 set pics, plus; an apology video from Joss Whedon?
We've gotten some pretty sweet peeks from behind-the-scenes of the currently filming THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON already and today we've got some more snaps to further fuel the flames of your excitement. The pics come from the set in Italy, where star Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) are seen rescuing civilians and fighting some mo-cap bad guys. One thing that's really cool here is the nod to his original comics costume, namely the "kilt" that he donned with the full-on purple outfit. It's modified here and looks to be more of a jacket than anything, but it's cool to see that inclusion, which is kind of a mix of the Marvel 616 and Ulitmates costume. Hopefully, they use Cap's Marvel NOW outfit for the film, as that would be the best merger of the old and new.
Here's the pics:
In addition to the pics, Joss Whedon has put out a video from the set of the film, which is an apology to South Korea, which is the next filming location for the sequel. "We are going to mess it up a bit and inconvenience some people for a few days and I apologize for that," says Whedon in the video, which looks to be playing on Korean news stations. If nothing else, it's a good message for set spies to get their cameras ready, right?
