I voted Ed Wood

IMO the worst of the ones I've seen: the Tourist without a doubt

I have to go with the one movie on this list that I watch at least once a year and that's Sleepy Hollow. Ed wood, Donnie Brascoe, Pirates 1, all good movies. Maybe this list would be easier if we picked his worst movie. Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Hands down worst.

His best performance is "Ed Wood", but my overall favorite movie by him is "Nick Of Time". Vastly underrated thriller.

Pirates 1 or Ed Wood remain his best performances in my book, so I voted pirates 1. Gotta give a shout out to Platoon however.

Fear and Loathing was good, but Pirates is arguably his best character ever. He IS that film and makes the character completely his own. Though he did well as Hunter, his Jack is just a bit better.

Fear & Loathing hands down. It's the only movie EVER that follows the book literally word for word.

Easy choice

The Ninth Gate by a longshot, followed by Nick of Time, and then Nightmare on Elm Street. The rest of his work doesn't really resonate that much with me. Blow is an ok movie, and Fear and Loathing isn't all that. I've always felt that Where the Buffalo Roam is much funnier, and Bill Murray plays Hunter S. Thompson much better.

Was a tough call...

Between Fear and Loathing and Ed Wood, but ultimately had to go with Ed Wood. Such a great, underrated movie.

Easily Ed Wood and Fear and Loathing.

also surprised to see how many of his movies I dislike. Guess he's so likable he makes me forget the bad ones.

My favorite of his is ED WOOD. My close second favorite is DEAD MAN, which you didn't even include on this list.

Absolutely. I'm a fan of any movie where he dies, especially in such a gory manner. One of his better movies.

If you didn't vote for Fear & Loathing, you obviously haven't seen it yet.
