Na'vi first look

AVATAR Mike from over at "Market Saw" has been tracking every single morsel of information that has even the most peripheral relation to James Cameron's sci fi epic AVATAR and though most things aren't really of note considering the film is still about a year and a half away, today he got himself something kinda cool. He got ahold of a crew t-shirt that gives us a silhouetted first look at the cat-like Na'vi, the native inhabitants of Pandora, the planet humans travel to in the hopes of exploiting its natural resources. The film's central story follows a crippled war vet (Sam Worthington) who goes to Pandora to enlist in the Avatar program, in which humans meld their consciousness with that of a Na'vi and use it to explore the planet. However, he finds himself sympathizing with the exploited Na'vi and helps them start a rebellion. A few of these Na'vi will be what Cameron refers to as synth-thespians, CGI creations so photo realistic, we apparently won't even know they're not real. Extra Tidbit: Zoe Saldana provides the motion capture for one of the female Na'vi protagonists. Yum.
