Netflix's reach knows no bounds, and as far the US is concerned, things are just heating up! The streaming service announced some titles coming their way, like SPOTLIGHT on June 22 and THE BIG SHORT on July 6, but much more notable was a deal struck with Disney. Starting this September (for US subscribers), Netflix will become home to the latest Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar flicks.

Netflix was very specific to mention the "latest" Disney films, so I'm wondering how far back this catalogue will go. In any event, Netflix doesn't seem content with just sitting idly by. They're pumping out original shows left and right and nabbing some serious exclusive films to stream. On the flip side, they may not have as many films as they used to, but it's hard to argue with all of the original and exclusive content they're bringing to the table. Netflix and chill, anyone?

Roy, I'm kind of with you. I enjoy Netflix mostly for it's TV content, but any time I'm in the mood to watch a movie and get the "Hey, is this on netflix?" idea in my head, 90 percent of the time it is not. It's filled with crappy horror movies and stuff that I have on Bluray and seen 20 times(pulp fiction, the graduate, etc...)

Will this now justifies why I continue to pay for Netflix

I understand Netflix wants to continue with original content, but 80 percent of their film catalog is absolute garbage. The only reason I've kept it for so long at this point is for House of Cards, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia--amongst other shows. This deal will continue to make Netflix a better option over HBO Now and other paid streaming services.
