Netflix has already renewed Castlevania for season two!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I was already sold on the Netflix CASTLEVANIA series from the moment it was announced. After we heard that the series was going to feature an amazing line-up of voice-actors, including Graham McTavish as Dracula, I was even more sold. If that’s possible.

Truth be told, it totally slipped my mind that the 4-episode first season started streaming today on Netflix, but I plan to get right on that shite once my shift reporting the world of horror news wraps up for the day.

The series must be a success already because recently, producer Adi Shankar spoke with Cinema Runner and let slip so cool new info on the future of CASTLEVANIA on Netflix. At one point in the interview, Shankar was asked if there was anything from the game(s) he wanted to include in this first season but didn’t have room for. Shankar replied:

Well, let’s remember that this is just season one. And not only has season two already been greenlit, but the episode order has been doubled to eight episodes. So the chapter definitely hasn’t fully closed on this story.

And boom. Just like that now we know that not only has the series been given the greenlight for a second season, but that the second season will have double the episodes! Pretty cool, Netflix. Pretty cool.

So I’m guessing CASTLEVANIA is worth checking out then, huh? Have YOU been watching? What did you think? Make sure to let us know what you think so far on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

CASTLEVANIA is now streaming on Netflix!
