From the sound of it we're going to be plenty happy when Daredevil hits Netflix on April 10th (you can check out our review of the first episode here), but if you need something to tide you over until then, you might be interested in the Netflix original series Bloodline. The story follows that of a family of adult siblings who find that their past secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep of a brother returns home to the Florida Keys. Netflix has renewed the show for a second season (scheduled to hit next year) so if you want to see what kind of dirty shenanigans the Rayburn family is up to, there's no better time than now!

While I found Bloodline to be a pretty lukewarm family drama, it was filled with a lot of great performances from the likes of Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini (of Freaks and Geeks fame), Sam Shepard, and Sissy Spacek. A special shout-out goes to Ben Mendelsohn, who plays the black sheep of the family. His performance was chock full of layers and if rumor comes to fruition, he may have a role in Gareth Edwards' Star Wars spin-off, ROGUE ONE. The series ended on an interesting note, to say the least, so I'm curious if they can come up with something compelling for season 2.

BLOODLINE will return with a second season in 2016.
