In an effort to introduce a little magic to your Wednesday afternoon, Netflix has unveiled a series of first-look images for Matt Groening's upcoming animated comedy DISENCHANTMENT. As the co-creator of both THE SIMPSONS and FUTURAMA, Groening holds a substantial amount of credibility with fans of the animation genre, who will no doubt be interested to see how the pop culture icon will adapt his particular brand of humor to a high-fantasy setting.

DISENCHANTMENT centers on the dysfunctional Princess Bean, who’s accompanied by the demon Luci and the dwarf Elfo through a magical realm known as Dreamland. The new show is said to be targeting a more adult audience who are likely to tune in for shows akin to BIG MOUTH and BOJACK HORSEMAN. Starring in the upcoming animated series is Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Eric Andre as Luci and Nat Faxon as Elfo. Also to be featured in the show are a number of FUTURAMA alum such as John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille, who will contribute to the show via supporting roles. Also joining the aforementioned titans of voice talent as members of the cast will be David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding and Lucy Montgomery.
