New Avengers: Age of Ultron clip hinting at Civil War leaks online

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

After unveiling the first official clip from AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON on AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. this week, Marvel debuted another at the El Capitan Theater when they shared with the world their plans for Phase Three. With the news that we would get another clip on Tuesday night’s ABC special celebrating 75 years of Marvel history, it is a safe bet it is likely that clip.

A bootleg copy of the scene in question has been uploaded to YouTube. Running just about a minute, the clip gives us a moment between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark as they chop wood and discuss what happened when they faced off against Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. The results do not sound too good and forced Thor to disappear for a while. In either case, it sets up some animosity between Stark and Rogers with dialogue that clearly hints at what is building for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

As someone who had negative things to say about the first AVENGERS, I am all in for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Origin story out of the way, Joss Whedon looks to be giving us a balls out superhero epic that is bound to shatter every record there is. Here’s hoping the film itself can live up to the teaser and all of the mounting hype for what is coming next.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
