New AVP:R pics!

I don’t think many people really thought ALIENS VS. PREDATOR 2 would amount to much. The first film didn’t live up to the hype or expectations and the second just seemed like an easy way to cash in (“Aliens! Predators! Earth!”). But I think the fanboy community has been especially surprised by what they’ve we’ve seen so far with AVP:R. It kinda looks like what I wanted to see in the first film. Today, USA Today has a new gallery of stills from the film, including a couple of nice shots of the alien/predator hybrid. Have we come up with a good name for these hybrids yet? I’m not sure I dig “predalien,” which is what they’re calling it in AVP:R. The alieator? The predien? Bennifer? Hmmm…we’ll keep working on that.
