The first trailer for BROTHERS was more intriguing than this one.

The voice-over makes the trailer seems like the usual run of the mill sad bastard story. Actually, it makes it sound like a shitty chick flick.

I'm pretty sure this movie is none of those things (40% sad bastard). With scenes like Tobey Maguire loosing his cool and taking his anger out on the kitchen, the film could be quite powerful. When I saw the original trailer, it was really intense. There was this constant thought that Maguire might rip Jake Gyllenhaal to shreds for breaking up his happy little family.

I just can't endorse this new trailer. Wow...maybe I'm the one going ape shit.

Extra Tidbit: You might argue that having The Fray play in your trailer tends to make it seem more like a chick flick, but I have to disagree.

Really really want to see this, am a big Jake Gyllenhaal fan anyway but really want to see Jake and Toby together and see if the film is as good as the trailer looks.

But i kinda like how the trailer makes you think it's gonna be a movie like that, but then it turns around and says "fuck no."

Kind of like the Red Eye trailer? I can see that, but it's not nearly as pronounced of effective as in the Red Eye one though
