<a href=THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON" />

There's a new trailer out for David Fincher's upcoming THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON that gives us a much better look at the reverse aging process that happens to Brad Pitt in the film. In it, he stars as a guy born old who starts aging backwards and who along the way falls in love with Cate Blanchett. There's been some mixed reviews of the film so far but it looks intriguing enough to at least check it out once. Click through for the trailer. Pitt begins to age in reverse on Christmas Day. Get the trailer in HD over HERE.

Extra Tidbit: Aging in reverse seems like a pretty good deal.

Brains
Another case of the oddities of the MPAA. This one being that they approved a trailer that has a guys brains being blown out. Well I suppose its actually being blown IN since its in reverse, but peculiar none the less. Violence must be ok if its in that form. Flick looks spectacular though

Gorgeous. Will not miss out on this movie. And ditto to 12D3 for the Forrest Gump comparison. It seems to echo it a bit at least.

looks great
looks excellent.. I can't wait for this.

Zodiac was a bit 50/50 for me. I dug the acting, tone, cinematography and direction, but it just seemed to kinda go nowhere. I know it followed a true story but that's kinda seemed to end up nowhere.. and I didn't like that 2 much.

Yea, Zodiac was definitely one of his most impressive films, this one looks intriguing as well, thought the first trailer was great but this one paints a clearer picture

This seems like a Fincher version of Forrest Gump. Just has that feel to it, but far more serious.

Looks great, cant wait to see it.

cant wait
I cant wait for this.... David Fincher has never let me down with any of his films. Kc, ignorant people will never understand it and Zodiac was on the top as Finchers best.

This looks fabulous. It's this odd mix of all of the "good" things about Burton and all of the amazing things about Fincher (those light filters and washed out film are unmistakably Fincher).

And "pacing" here is on par with the genre, so I'm really confused when someone says the pacing is off/bad. They can't all be rack 'em stack 'em and hack 'em flicks that move at breakneck,...

Still not that impressed
I don't get what all the dick sucking is for this movie's previews. I just "don't get it", I guess. I don't think I'm "cultured" enough to understand its' intricacies, I presume.

looks great
I am really looking forward to this. The film does look pretty slow but if Fincher is able to pull off the kind of pacing that seemed to really work for his last film Zodiac, this could be a really good movie. After seeing Zodiac, I am convinced that Fincher can do both a hyper-kinetic film like Fight Club and a methodical film like Zodiac with great success.

I hate to do this but..
Trailer was really slow, no tingle like the teaser.

Also... it looks more like Golem than Brad Pitt for half of it.

If the trailer is this slowly paced... imagine.

I'll still pay money to see it just because it's so epic in scope, and looks well executed.
