New clip from The Avengers featuring Nick Fury and Maria Hill

With less than a month to go, Marvel's THE AVENGERS has been leaking a lot of little bits without giving away the whole meal and this clip is another example.  Short, sweet, and spoiler free, the clip features an exchange between Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) as they discuss some operational stuff in the film.

Check it out:

If anything, the clip highlights the interaction of the characters, which may not be Shakespeare in this instance, but definitely sets the tone of the relationship between Hill and Fury, which matches the comics fairly well.  Hill is a fiery, strong-willed persona in the comics and it's nice to see Smulders emulating her persistent attitude.  For a 30-second clip that's pretty good.

Marvel's THE AVENGERS opens on May 4, 2012.

Extra Tidbit: I'd really like to see more of Cobie Smulders on the big screen. Also, I'd like to see her in less clothing on the big screen. The two go hand-in-hand.

I'm sorry, but I want to watch this movie in it's entirety.

At this point the movie has been so chopped with scenes, stills, shots, & profiles, that I'm feeling like I'm seeing the movie before it even comes out. I know there will be more, but please hold back on the onslaught of over-hype. I want to enjoy this movie immensely, but I don't want it crammed down my throat.

That is very unlikely. The movie is 2 hours long. It is doubtful that production stills, behind the scene photos, clips, posters and teasers will even represent a fraction of the product. There is still much more to anticipate that will only be appreciated when seen in the film. Even the clips mean little outside of a context.

Furthermore, it's called marketing. Marvel is doing what they can to keep building the hype. Joblo is simply reporting on the news that comes out. If you don't

If you don't want to see it, don't look at the articles. There are many who enjoy these small tastes of the larger treat. It's okay if you want to wait, but don't blame JoBlo or Marvel Studios for trying to feed the Avengers frenzy.

Extra tidbit: I second that.

Man, am I glad to see Maria Hill is part of this movie. Oh the possibilities they can go with the sequels. I thinking Civil War for Avengers 3??

To watch Civil War on a big screen would be awesome! My only concern is all the copyrights that other studios have on Marvel characters. Sad.

Civil War would be epic, but I don't think they could successfully capture it in cinema, given the studio rights to certain character's, etc.
