New Eli poster | Movie News
I don't know what to think about THE BOOK OF ELI. The various trailers look pretty cool but I've heard some troubling things about the film and the mid-January release date can sometimes act as a warning sign. One thing I'm really excited to see though is Gary Oldman getting back to playing a psychotic bad guy. I've kinda missed that.
A new poster for ELI is available and it wisely (at least from a marketing perspective) sticks to a giant Denzel Washington head. I'd think with a movie like this you could find a slightly more impressive visual to strike a chord with people but so be it. Check out the new poster below...

Extra Tidbit: I think a good portion of the success of this film (critically, not commercially) will be how believable the third act revelation is to audiences.

I've said it before, even if this film didn't look as kickass as it already does, I'd watch a Denzel film where he watches paint dry.
