A new international (Japanese) trailer for Matt Reeves' DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has been released, featuring some great new footage, including a bit more ape action. We also get to hear a little bit more from Gary Oldman's character in this latest trailer, who still doesn't like nor trust the apes.

"They're animals!"

There are a bunch of great looking films hitting theaters in July, but the one I want to see the most is definitely DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. The trailers have done a fantastic job of showing us just how shitty of a time it's been for the humans since RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, and I'm very curious to know more about the "other option" Jason Clarke mentions in this latest international trailer. It's probably a solid idea, but I get the feeling Gary Oldman is going to throw a monkey wrench into Clarke's plan.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will open on July 11, 2014.

As much as Oldman's character probably screws up everything in this film, he looks perfectly casted in this. Can't wait.

I agree that Oldman looks perfectly cast and I love the idea of a flawed resistance leader, of a John Connor who's probably misguided. You've probably gotten this a lot, but the past tense of "cast" is "cast".

I didn't know that, what's the future tense smarty pants? There's no option to corrected/edit a post, and if you're like me you don't proofread before clicking "submit", but that doesn't stop people on here who LOVE to correct grammar for people. This isn't an English class, it's a comment forum.

There is an option to correct and edit a post, just not on mobile. The_Soloist has been called out on this same grammar mistake before, and his reply was "I keep forgetting", so this was but a reminder. LordMiz, who's being more of a dick here? Me, for pointing it out, or you, for calling me "smarty pants", saying there's no option to edit when there clearly is, and saying "that doesn't stop people on here who LOVE to correct grammar for people"? I don't think I correct people's grammar all

I don't think I correct people's grammar all that often. If I'm being honest, I'm just trying to help The_Soloist, because he seems like he's actually a nice person.

Gary Oldman can play a side hero or villain in perfect form every time. Probably one of the best in the business that doesn't get enough recognition.
