New Godzilla featurette gives a bit more insight into the famous roar

There's nothing quite like the roar of GODZILLA and this new featurette takes a quick look at the making of the classic sound from the likes of director Gareth Edwards and star Bryan Cranston. If you've seen the trailer for the film in an IMAX theater then you probably have a pretty damn good idea of how much that sound will rock once the movie comes out, but to help you get jazzed for that experience, you can nibble on this appetizer.

ROOAAARRRRCRUUUUNK:

Here's the synopsis:

The world's most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Legendary Pictures is also asking you to send in your roar here, but just clicking through a few of them nearly split my eardrums, so proceed with caution. With just a few weeks to go before this bad boy stomps into theaters, I think it's safe to say that there's a tremendous air of excitement for GODZILLA. It feels like it's been a long time to get to this point. Will it be worth the wait? It's "sounding" good so far.

GODZILLA, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, and Sally Hawkins roars into theaters on May 16, 2014.
