New Guardians of the Galaxy banners bring the color and gunfire

In one month the sequel to Marvel’s most unexpected smash, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, arrives and it’s shaping up to be just as colorful and hilarious as the last. Like the advertising for the last one the posters for this new film are bursting with vibrant colors and characters in sick superhero poses. James Gunn took to Twitter this morning to post a few new banners for the film, and needless to say all the colors of the rainbow are present.

If there’s one thing the MCU has on the DCEU it’s a festive color palette, and not one concocted by some morose teen who just discovered grunge. All the main gang is here, and I’m hoping for some more with Nebula, Yondu and possibly Ego. But, overall, where’s my goddamned Sylvester Stallone pic! I’m a patient man, but I’m starting to see red over here.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Kurt Russell, Karen Gillan, Sylvester Stallone and more arrives May 5.

Record Breaking

I feel like this movie has the potential to break some box office records. I've never met someone who didn't like the first one, including my wife who doesn't like any comic based movies, and she loved it.
