Timothy Olyphant could be about to set the world alight. He could also be about to destroy what should be an incredible franchise. Opinion seems to have polarised like that, on whether or not Olyphant is gonna do a good job with HITMAN. Now we have a couple of new images and they're looking kinda good. They're definitely keeping up the good work that the teaser (which we brought to you exclusively!) did a couple of months back.

Here's a quick reminder of the plot: A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant) is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe. hired by a group known as "The Agency" to kill targets for cash.

I really was luke-warm on Olyphant as Agent 47. These pics have pushed me more into the optimist camp - particularly the first one. That image looks just like a cut scene from the game. I have liked Olyphant in everything he has been in so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Diesel as 47 was my biggest fear. Frankly, I'm thrilled with ol' Timbo there, even if he does look a little weird when bald and not in the full suit. Still, it still has promise, and that's enough for me.

I love Hollywood. They would like nothing better than to take away my guns, even though I'm a lawful Schmoe, and yet just about every stinking movie they put out has some knob pointing a gun at somebody like its the coolest thing in the world. Nowadays they just put out movies for the tweenie psychos out there based on two sentence plot-lines from a video game. With the knob pointing a gun at...
I love Hollywood. God of War movie
I heard someone say online it was gonna be the black guy from blood diamond to play Kratos in a God of War movie, and I hope to god its a moronic fan wish as his accent and lack of presence(Kratos-ness?) would ruin the movie, which should be EPIC in every way, or dont bother. Get Snyder, he's way better suited for it than Watchmen. But for Kratos, I dont know of anyone who could make me believe...

HITMAN...REALLY?
Seriously...how far do you think this movie will go? Like all video game-big screen adaptations, Hitman will end up being a flick supercharged with irrelevant action scenes, swearing, lots of girls in skimpy clothing and maybe none at all on DVD. Such an easy way to draw money from people who cared so much about the game. My worst nightmare? God Of War ending up like another game flick...oh and...
