New images from Adam Sandler's Grown Ups pop up

Feb. 4, 2010by: George Merchan
It's weird that I used to dig these comedians so much back during their 90s heyday on "Saturday Night Live". I can still watch those old episodes and get a real kick out of them, but their movies (for the most part) are another story entirely.

Director Dennis Dugan (YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK & LARRY) brings back a handful of the old comics once again in GROWN UPS, about a group of old friends who reunite on Fourth of July weekend thirty years after their high school graduation. Hey, I bet they don't act like grown ups!

The film stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, and Maya Rudolph. Collider was kind enough to post a slew of new pics from the film. Below are a few, but head on over there to check out the rest.

GROWN UPS opens wide June 25th.

One good reason to see this film

Norm MacDonald is in it. It'll probably suck, but anything with Norm is worth watching in my book.

Extra Tidbit: "If it's got Carrot Top in it, you know what would be a good name for it? Box Office Poison!"

Extra Tidbit

I will always love Chris Farley best; it's a shame the world takes from us the very best so early. Dana Carvey and Mike Meyers were also great. Will Farrell was incredible until he left and started making awful mock-biopic movies.

To me, the early 90s were best, especially with people like Phil Hartman, those fake commercials like the "beer or gays," and "Deep Thoughts" with Jack Handy.

The show just isn't the same anymore.

This looks really awful. At first, it seemed a little promising.

Until I saw the trailer.
