New Let Me In one sheets are angelic, fetal, and a little familiar

Sep. 9, 2010by:

If these two new posters for the impending horror remake LET ME IN seem a tad familiar to you, it's probably because they're nearly identical to their teaser (and in my opinion, better) counterparts released back in July. But nevertheless, the images are still striking and evocative. Here's hoping the film itself follows suit.

LET ME IN premieres at this year's Fantastic Fest and then opens October 1st.

Synopsis: Chloe Moretz stars as Abby, a mysterious 12-year old girl, who moves next door to Owen. Owen is a social outcast who is viciously bullied at school and in his loneliness, forms a profound bond with his new neighbor. Owen cant help noticing that Abby is like no one he has ever met before. As a string of grisly murders occupy the town, Owen has to confront the reality that this seemingly innocent girl is really a savage vampire.

Extra Tidbit: I feel like Chloe Mortez is one or two films away from getting an Oscar nomination (and maybe a win). What other actor her age comes close?

@ Posters and Tidbit

Ok first the one sheets. So im really agitated with the way these posters are looking. It would be a much better approach to have actual photographs from the film. rather than the animated look they have goin for them. does anyone else think that chloe basically looks animated in these?/ also i think she has major potential to win a oscar this girl came out of nowhere at least for me and shes great in everything. thumbs up to her agent.

re: Tidbit

Chloe has definite potential to be an exciting young actress, but we might be getting way ahead of ourselves with Oscar talk.

The only other child actresses in her age group are possibly Abigail Breslin or Saorise Ronan. Both might be a little older, I think...

Cool posters. I'm really hoping this movie does well, because everything I have been seeing looks great. As for the extra tidbit, I could see it happening with the right script and director. She's on a good streak right now with this, (500) Days of Summer, Kick Ass, and The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid.

I can admit

I can't wait to see this. I liked the original, but it could definitely have improved in some areas.

I really dig the 2nd one, the first one is pretty good too.

I wish they would have at least changed her hair color for this. It would have made it even more perfect.

Yeah, she is supposed to look like she is from southern areas (perhaps Iran(Persia)) and been around for a long time.

Anyhow, the american version will certainly be good anyway.

I still think they're playing up the horror element too much in all the ads

hit girl

Sadly, I can say Kick-Ass is the only film I saw her in, but she owned every scene. She just has.......it. I don't know, call it cliche or band-wagonish but she was phenomenal in that movie, like Golden Globe nod for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy phenomenal

I really like these posters. Simple yet effective. I think Chloe Grace Moretz and the only other actress who is close to her age that will get nominated again is Abigail Breslin. She isnt that bad either

I like the concept, especially the first one. But she looks like a doll or even a drawing, it could look even better with a real photo of her.
Regarding the extra tidbit: she's a good actress, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, ok?
