New Moon stills

05.22.2009

Just a few days ago, we brought you the first poster for the Stephanie Meyer adapted brooding emo vampire sequel THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON and, as if on cue, "Entertainment Weekly" now has the first three stills of the film. This time around, Bella's brooding undead Edward leaves her for whatever reason vampires in sappy stories leave their true loves so she finds solace in the Native American manliness of her friend Jacob, who happens to be a werewolf. Click on dear sweet Bella for the rest of the pics. The saga continues November 20th.

Being a huge fan of the Twilight saga books, I'll be the first to admit that Twilight wasn't an amazing movie, but it was def. awesome to see the characters come to life. I'm excited for New Moon being the book was so good. This first pic shown is from the opening scene of the book (Bellas birthday).. should be good! :)

Im extremely happy that there is a new director, I think its really important to the fans of these movies that they be really reflective of the novels. The first movie didnt do a good job of that at all. That being said, I really did not like this book of the series whatsoever.

To gameslave:

I have been visiting this site for years and I love the books. This website is not just for guys! Please keep that in mind, and I do know several guys who like the books and the movie.

The first movie was OK, but I am hoping a better director will make this a better movie. I was excited to see the stills. There will be a clip from the movie at the MTV Movie Awards. :)

Just like SAW, then, be grateful there is a SET LIMIT to the amount of movies coming.

That said, being a FAN of Twilight, I'm looking forward to all three of 'em.

I was told by a coworker in advance to expect more of a love story than a vampire flick, so watching Twilight with my wife was easier going in that way. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
As for the extra tidbit, it was explained to me that since these characters aren't supposed to age, the studio wants to pump out the movies as fast as they can so the actors look as close in age as possible from film 1 to the last film (4 or 5 I think).

Bah!

I thought this was about Moon Bloodgood.

Not some lameass movie about sparkling, beadazzled goths that think they're vampires.

I care only because it is a pretty impressive pop-culture thing, and it polarizes pretty solidly. Still haven't bothered with either books or film. But one of my male co-workers is REALLY into it for some reason. I never bothered to ask. But I'd like to think (or hope) that Edward leaves so he can finally drink blood in peace. That's why I'd do it, anyway.
