Paramount Pictures is beginning to plant the seeds for the promotional campaign of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS, hoping it'll grow into some box office fruit for them in June. Today they released an extended TV spot that is sure to start getting some play here and there, and, while it doesn't provide anything we haven't already seen before, having already gotten glimpses at Rocksteady, Bebop, Krang, Shredder, Casey Jones, schoolgirl Megan Fox, etc. - it's more about putting out the right vibe for prospective viewers that might check the flick out...

And I may be turning into one of them.

While not a fan of the first TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES reboot, OUT OF THE SHADOWS is growing on me. Call it a hunch, but I get the feeling that now that everyone's baggage about the Turtles' origins is out of the way, there might be a fun flick lurking in the sewers that could make for a decent few hours spent in a movie theater this summer. This TV spot further reinforces that, so take a look... Before long, maybe it'll start wearing you down, too.

I didn't watch the first one because it looked like a disaster. But the nostalgia factor of these trailers is something I can't get over. Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, the Shredder, and even the promise that comes with having Baxter Stockman around (will he become a fly, or save themare all things that once upon a time I would've fallen so hard over. The trailers for this play up the same messy cgi-heavy look of the last one, and the Transformers movies, and that's not my thing, but 5-year-old me

I really like the look of Krang, and Beebop and Rocksteady. I just hope they don't make the mistake of cramming too many villains into the movie and not giving them enough screen time. I do like the new look of the Foot. Their closer to the look from the first film.

I'm guessing that Batman V Superman was the acceptable amount of obnoxious CGI for you. Then again, The Green Lantern has even more CGI (probably no worse than the use of it in this movie) and you proudly display the worst offender of it on your avatar. I really don't understand why you can love some really bad movies and yet so passionately despise movies that aren't much worse.

Still haven't gotten on board. The first film took the franchise and ran it through the garbage and none of these trailers seem to do much more. I'd love to get excited for these new films, being a life long fan of the franchise, but I have yet to see anything to get excited about.
