New Persia poster

Next summer’s Bruckheimer-produced videogame adaptation PRINCE OF PERSIA is practically guaranteed to become a blockbuster… but you might not think so if you only went by the promotional material.

I don’t know if this new scruffy-Jake poster (via Planeta Disney) is part of a series of images featuring the principal characters with forehead adjectives, but there must be a better way to advertise the flick’s fantasy themes and sword-swinging spectacle.

And if you’ve never played any of the PERSIA videogames, another one that might interest you is on the way to tie in with the movie’s release. Publisher Ubisoft says that the new game’s goal “is to reach both audiences, the core and casual gamers. It will be a game that will have lots of combat, with the possibility for gamers that are not as good – a level for beginners. In that sense we are trying to cover both groups.”
