New photo of Dennis Quaid as Bill Clinton

Here's a treat for you.

Dark Horizons has managed to find a photo of Dennis Quaid as Bill Clinton in THE SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP. It's not an exact match, but I think it's a pretty good one.

Here's the synopsis for the movie from the site: "Follows the unique and sometimes turbulent political relationship between newly installed British Prime Minister Tony Blair and U.S. President Bill Clinton in the late 1990s." The film is being directed by Richard Loncraine (FIREWALL, WIMBLEDON). Peter Morgan penned the script and has done two other projects (THE QUEEN, THE DEAL) with Michael Sheen as Prime Minister, Tony Blair. Hope Davis will play the ball-busting Hillary Clinton. QUEEN stars Helen McCrory and Mark Bazeley will return to the roles of Cherie Blair and Alastair Campbell.

RELATIONSHIP actually follows DEAL & QUEEN in the Tony Blair trilogy of sorts. If they plan to move ahead with another movie on Blair, the next installment would be his strong political alliance with George W. Bush. When that day comes, do you get Josh Brolin to play W again? It's not necessarily a bad idea.

So what's your opinion on Quaid as Clinton? For me, all that's missing is a sax and an intern.

Extra Tidbit: If only Phil Hartman were still alive...
