New Release dates for: The Green Hornet, The Last Airbender, and Priest

There’s been some release date changes announced for a few movies. One finally gets a release date, another gets moved up to give a certain franchise some competition, and the other continues to get pushed back.

First on the agenda is THE GREEN HORNET which now has a date of release. On January 14, 2011 you’ll be able to see if Seth Rogen cuts it in an action role. Plus we will get to see if the film will truly be a flop of a total surprise. It will be released in IMAX 3D, simultaneously with 3D and the standard 2D.

THE LAST AIRBENDER is moving forward a day for a July 1st release. They are hoping to target the young male demographic “along with indications that the Thursday will play very much like a holiday”. AIRBENDER will also be competing for viewers as ECLIPSE comes out the day before on June 30th.

Sadly, PRIEST has been pushed back once more to a May 13th, 2011 release date. The movie was moved to a later date so that it could be converted to 3D, but apparently it’s taking longer than initially thought.
