SAW 3D isn’t off to a very good start. First, they came out with the eye-rolling title that did away with the series’ traditional roman numerals in favor of beating you over the head with the fact that it was in 3D. Next, it was revealed that they more or less completely stole their poster design from a Playstation 3 ad, charges I have yet to hear refuted by anyone at the studio.
Well, now there’s a new batch of stills from the project that Lionsgate has just released, and as far as I can see, they’re pretty controversy free. The first shows what appears to be a trap set in public, then second shows lamest-horror-villain-ever, Hoffman, building some sort of wheeled contraption and the last one is a scared girl in a room with hooks. Hooks are scary!
