New stills from Jerome Sable’s Stage Fright starring Allie MacDonald

Who would have thought singing and dancing would look so damn good covered in blood?! STAGE FRIGHT promises to be just that as it will hit VOD outlets tomorrow, April 3rd, and we've got a bunch of new stills to celebrate the occasion. I've never been much of a fan of musicals—they're just too cheesy, and not in a good way—but I'll certainly be giving STAGE FRIGHT a shot because I'm a sucker for a good 'ol fashion slasher flick. If you missed the last trailer, and happened to be out of the loop on STAGE FRIGHT, dig into it right HERE:

Here's what it's about:

STAGE FRIGHT is about a starry-eyed teenager Camilla Swanson who aspires to follow in the footsteps of her Broadway diva mother. Instead she's stuck working in the kitchen of a snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase and lands a lead role in the play, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla soon finds herself terrified by the horror of musical theater.

The film stars Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith, with Minnie Driver and Meat Loaf, and was produced by Ari Lantos and Jonas Bell Pasht of Serendipity Point Films. Magnet will release the film in its Ultra VOD program, launching it on iTunes and On Demand on April 3 and following with a theatrical release on May 9.
