New Stranger Things teaser counts up to Friday the 13th final trailer debut

I've got to say, the marketing campaign for the second season of Matt and Ross Duffer's STRANGER THINGS has been one stellar '80s throwback after the next. Between the cool, vintage character posters and art designed to emulate notable '80s properties like FIRESTARTER, ALIEN, JAWS, THE EVIL DEAD, STAND BY ME, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and more, I think the program's PR team deserves a healthy bonus in their next paycheck.

Today, we've got a brand-new teaser for tomorrow's big Friday the 13th final trailer reveal! In keeping with the old school '80s theme, the tease comes complete with a deep, booming voice over, film grain that would make even the schlockiest of gore-tastic films blush, and a warning that no one is prepared for what's to come when the show returns on October 27th. It's a spectacularly spooky display of what I can only assume will be good times, so be sure to charge your proton packs and don't forget to wear your brown pants.
