New The Predator poster wants your skulls

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Director Shane Black and co-writer Fred Dekker's THE PREDATOR has unveiled a new image and poster at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The new image shows a Predator piloting his ship (or something like that) but all that aside, the new poster is a work of stunning "graphic" art as it is comprised of the infamous Predator visage – made completely out of human skulls. It's as badass as it sounds.

You can check out both the image and the poster below. Here's the official synopsis:

A young boy (Jacob Tremblay) accidentally triggers an alert that brings the Predators back to Earth. The universe’s most lethal hunters have genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other alien species and only a crew of former soldiers along with a disgruntled science teacher can stop the hunters before everybody becomes their prey.

The PREDATOR series has always had its way with awesome marketing materials, but this new poster is something really special. Why they don't just go all-in and make this the movie's official poster is beyond me. I guess the general public is more afraid of lightning strikes than an alien hunter comprised of the skulls of the innocent. Go figure.

THE PREDATOR stars  Yvonne Strahovski, Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and Thomas Jane, among others. THE PREDATOR will arrive in theaters on September 14th
