MTV has a new picture from the upcoming Oliver Stone movie W. In it, Josh Brolin plays George. W. Bush with Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush and Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice, in the movie about the man's life and presidency. Presumably the picture is from the part in the movie where he gets up on a bar top with a chick in a cowboy hat. Because let's be honest, it's gonna be weird if it isn't.

Looks interesting
I'm no fan of Bush the President. He 'lost' both elections and this country is in shambles. However, I've met him on 2 occasions (both before he was Prez) and he came across as a really nice guy. He was quite funny and very friendly. I can only imagine the stories he could tell about growing up as privileged as he did. Stone's gonna put his spin on things, but when it's all said and done,

I'd love to see him and Ledger BOTH win in the same year.

Who cares how it does at the box office? It only matters if it's well done.

Hey, not all conservatives like bush...
Wow, the meaning of that statement changes depending on how you read it.

10 years from now people will be forcing the memory of this president out of their heads. Its way better to do this flick now while the national idiot is relevant. Otherwise a film like this would only regenerate bad memories for millions of people living in dumpsters because of this guy

I am convinced this movie will bomb. Conservatives/Bush supporters don't want to see their guy mocked and everyone else is just so tired of W that they can't wait to see him go - so why would they want to pay to watch a movie about him? This movie could have worked maybe 10 years from now... but now, it's just way, way too soon.
