This isn't a good sign: there's still six months before Zack Snyder's WATCHMEN arrives, and I'm running low on ways to describe the anticipation.
So I'll just say that I hope Kevin Smith isn't full of hyperbole, and that Snyder's adaptation of the seminal superhero deconstruction graphic novel is the Second Coming of Comics.

I hope the film does it justice. And, hey, at least the director has his storyboards done (and many shots I've seen thus far in trailers, etc. look like the text, so that's good).

I'm not knockin' the groms out there who haven't read it - but you can get your hands on a reprint at any big box book store.

The only downside, is that it make the storyline for so many comics look like shit comparatively after you read it. You expectations will unalterably go up after your first reading.
