Next Star Wars film to shoot in 2015 plus an overweight glob of grease

Britain's Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, recently dropped by the set of J.J. Abrams' STAR WARS: EPISODE VII to check out the glorious pig-a-thing (my theory) and talk shop with the folks at Pinewood Studios in London. He went on to say that the next Star Wars flick would be shot there as well, and later revealed it would start in 2015.

Here's the original tweet:

With Gareth Edwards being the first director announced to tackle a spin-off, it's the big assumption right now that he's going to be taking on a Boba Fett film, while the more recently announced Josh Trank will look into a young Han Solo adventure. If shooting does start in 2015, it hopefully wont be too long until we hear official word on what the title/story will be.

And because no set visit would be complete without visiting this little friend:

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII will hit theaters on December 18, 2015.

Extra Tidbit: Artoo's original dialogue was so vulgar, that every word had to be bleeped.

Damn I wish that economic machine was running over here,.....

Would be pretty fucking nice to have all those jobs in the US for 5-7 years. There are people within the industry that enjoy working in features more than commercial stuff -(me included)- young kids that all that they've ever worked since getting out of school is on commercial shit, but it looks like England will have those jobs for 5-7 years because of bullshit tradition. I know 95% don't care about where your movies are made and how just as long as their made, but Texas and many other states

I know 95% don't care about where your movies are made and how just as long as their made, but Texas and many other states have very generous tax credits and this could've been a nice boost in the economy in many states.

And yet we bitch when car companies and other companies take jobs oversees, but if it's a film company it's perfectly ok to take an American company jobs oversees
