What happens when vampires host birthday parties? The only mortal gets a papercut and the youngest of the vamps goes insane.

All sorts of clips have been dropping from NEW MOON as it gets closer to the November 20th release. This one is rather short and cuts off right before the action, but if you've seen the trailer you know what happens.

Here we have Bella's (Kristen Stewart) birthday at the Cullens. This clip isn't too different from the one in TWILIGHT when Bella first comes to the house to meet Edward's (Robert Pattinson) family. The awkward vibe still looms over everyone and the dialogue is a little cheesy. The scene also cuts right before Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) attacks Bella.

I'm still looking for an improvement from the first film. I'll get my answer soon enough.

Extra Tidbit: Best Robert Pattinson quote: "When I read Twilight, it seemed like I was convinced Stephenie [Meyer] was convinced she was Bella and it was like it was a book that wasn't supposed to be published. It was like reading her sexual fantasy, especially when she said it was based on a dream and it was like, 'Oh I've had this dream about this really sexy guy,' and she just writes this book about it. Some things about Edward are so specific, I was just convinced - I was like, 'This woman is mad. She's completely mad and she's in love with her own fictional creation.'"

Jasper is actually more of a badass than Edward as he use to train Vamps to fight , as well as feed on humans. He recently gave the latter part up, but i guess it's like being a chain smoker... one day at a time:)

That is exactly the feeling I got watching that movie. While the first few scenes were like just another teen angst movie, Edward is WAY too sensitive and otherwise perfect to be credible. Not that Pattinson wasn't able to ground it a LITTLE. He could very well turn out to be a great talent when he comes out the other side of this franchise.

Well I made my gf watch Martyrs AND let the right one in so i'm obliged to go see New Moon in theatres... but hey, it CANNOT be worse than seeing Catwoman in theatres so I'll suck it up. Besides the first one wasn't HORRIBLE but still very over-hyped, only if by fans of it

stephens i love your articles dude they're fucking fantastic but I feel like you're the only one who reports on Twilight-related news.

Judging by how few people who visit this site actually like and support Twilight I'm surprised that there's so many articles on it. But hey, everyone has their own tastes.

For starters, thank you. :)

Second, we can't discriminate against a movie even if only a few people show their interest in it. If you look at New Moon in upcoming previews, there's been like 101 votes rating the movie. The fans are there, I just think with a movie like this it's hard for someone to go, "Hey I f*cking love this shit!"

I will agree that I post on it th...

I will agree that I post on it the most though. Someone's got to. :) If a story ends up on my shift, I'll write about it.

lol No. This scene actually sets up the rest of New Moon. After Jasper attacks Bella, Edward decides he can't put her through anymore danger. So he leaves and the werewolf makes his way in.

If you haven't seen the trailer for this, then it will show you everything you need to know. :)
