Official synopsis for Doctor Strange sounds magically like what you’d expect

The Guardians of the Galaxy aren't the only characters to get their own purposefully vague synopsis for an upcoming Marvel Studios film today. DOCTOR STRANGE is getting in on the action, too… and, while the Sorceror Supreme's tease isn't trying to say something while saying absolutely nothing, his is a little more on the nose as far as what you'd expect the first Doctor Strange solo movie to encompass.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Oh, I get it… So a DOCTOR STRANGE movie is magically going to be about Doctor Strange and all the elements that make him such a unique figure in the Marvel realm…? Glad we could clarify that in an official manner. 

For those of you who had the complete opposite in the "What is DOCTOR STRANGE going to be about?" pool, we expect you to pay up quickly. We have things we've had your money earmarked for we'd like to pick up.

DOCTOR STRANGE enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe on November 4.
