Our first look at Natalie Portman in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan!

Having a hit on his hands with THE WRESTLER, Darren Aronofsky had free reign to do what he wanted for his next project. But when we heard his next film was a ballet drama, we were a little disappointed. When we heard its starred Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman, our ears perked up. And when we heard the two of them had a sex scene together? WHEN THE HELL DOES THIS MOVIE COME OUT RELEASE IT NOW.

Outside of that one juicy bite, we’ve heard little else about the film, but USA Today got their hands on the first photos from the project, and a pretty detailed plot synopsis as well.

The shots show Natalie Portman in crazy ballet makeup, and there’s an additional one over at the site of her and Kunis sitting at a table. They weren’t making out so I figured it was OK to leave out.

Check them out below, with the synopsis below that, and head over to USA Today for more.

The dark tale with psychological twists stars Natalie Portman as Nina, a technically brilliant ballerina whose life takes some strange turns after being picked as the lead in a New York City production of Swan Lake. Pressures mount as her overbearing mother (Barbara Hershey) pushes her to succeed and her manipulative dance master (Vincent Cassel) commands her to be more seductive and loose in her performance. Complicating matters is the arrival of Lily (Mila Kunis), a sultry dancer who exhibits all the innate ease and sexuality that Nina lacks. Nina begins to fixate on the newcomer as the two forge an unusual relationship.

Extra Tidbit: I have a hard time picturing Natalie Portman playing someone who struggles with being seductive.
