Page and Shawkat write

Ellen Page is more than just a hipster tomboy today, she's also a soon to be writer and producer.

Page has been tapped along with Alia Shawkat and Sean Tillman (otherwise known as Har Mar Superstar) to write a comedy for HBO called STITCH N' BITCH. The single camera show will follow two young hipster girls as they move from Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood to Los Angeles' Silver Lake with dreams of being artists. What sorts of artists you might ask? Apparently any.

Page, Shawkat, and Tillman all appeared together in Drew Barrymore's WHIP IT(excellent movie, btw). Whether or not they act together again in STITCH is still left to be decided. I hope to see Shawkat the most out of these three. She was hilariously adorable on ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT as cousin Maeby. Not so sure about the project though. I know I'll get sucked in to seeing the first episode if Page and Shawkat actually act in the series.

Tillman just kinda freaks me out though, for good reason. He's like the even more awkward twin of Ron Jeremy.

Extra Tidbit: I don't really get hipsters, so I often visit this site. Click with caution.
