Pick top summer movies | Movie News

For the 2nd year in a row, JoBlo.com is running an internal "summer box-office" contest for our staff-members (last year's big winner was Thomas Leupp, with Sturdy close in second place), but we figured that it might be fun for our readers as well -- although this won't be an "organized" contest, just something for you all to guess for fun, if you feel like it. Basically, you need to pick the TOP 10 BOX-OFFICE GROSSERS for the entire summer run. The movies that you believe will make the most money from May to August (and until their box-office runs out).

For each EXACT CORRECT MOVIE/RANKING, you will get 5 points, and for each CORRECT MOVIE in the top 10, you will get 3 points. If it seems complicated, don’t worry too much about it, just post your TOP 10 in THIS THREAD and return at the end of the summer to calculate your score. Don’t know what movies qualify? See the following release date months with all of the films listed: MAY, JUNE, JULY and AUGUST.
