Okay, that headline is a bit misleading, but there are only so many eye-catching ways to briefly describe something like this...

What we really have is yet another example of top Hollywood talent making odd commercials for foreign markets (and, no doubt, for large sacks of cash). This time it's Brad Pitt teaming with filmmaker Wes Anderson (RUSHMORE, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS).

I don't know how well the star of THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON improves phone reception, but at least he's having fun doing it (e.g., sunbathing babes).

Notice the music on the background it's France Gall the song's called "Poupée de si Poupée de son" it was her No. 1 hit later on she became the queen of the yé-yé pop movement in 60's France. A remake of her hit song "Laisse Tomber les Filles" by also awesome April March was used by Quentin Tarantino in the closing credits of Death Proof the remake is called "Chick Habit".

How could you not love this commercial?! softbank is the shit! Koodoes to you Brad Pitt! only bad asses wear yellow. these commercials make way more sense than the ones they make in America!! like those silly WaMu commercials! WTF is up with that?!
