I'm having a bad day. My best friend just told me he's a nazi and Jessica Alba told me that she hates my ham and gorgonzola quiche. I've been sitting in front of my computer for hours, praying to the movie gods for a genuine piece of good casting news, just to lighten my mood a little. Guess what. They responded. Big time.

Natalie Portman will join Danny McBride and James Franco in the comedy YOUR HIGHNESS, written by McBride and his totally rad collaborator Ben Best. McBride plays an arrogant, lazy (that sounds about right) prince who with his brother (Franco) must embark on a quest to save the kingdom and his brother's fiance. Portman will play a warrior princess that that Mcbride's character falls in love with. McBride and Best are the brains behind the wonderfully mean HBO comedy "Eastbound And Down" and are some of the funniest dudes in showbiz. And let's face it, each and every one of us would give Franco a hummer if he asked. For Portman to get mixed up with this particular gang of misanthropic thespians is the stuff movie magic is made of. God I hope we get to see her make out with Danny Mcbride. What a lucky son of a.

Extra Tidbit:	Danny McBride is officially the smartest guy in Hollywood.

Is it me or does Danny McBride and his brand of humor just come off as forcefully vulgar? Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to vulgarity in any way, shape or form but it just seems that McBride does it in a brainless way. The dude does have his moments but for the most part he just comes off as a 14 year old hillbilly in my opinion.

Portman sure likes playing royalty: Queen Amidala, Anne Boleyn, now another princess. Not that I'm complaining, this sounds good even though I'm not a huge fan of Eastbound and Down.
