Pregnant chick wants you to know What to Expect When You’re Expecting

Men beware!

A movie adaption of the book, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” by Heidi Murkoff & Sharon Mazel will be hitting the big screen.

The self-help book has been the pregnancy bible for Mommies to be for 25 years now. It has inspired screenwriter Heather Hach (FREAKY FRIDAY), who is currently 9 months pregnant to pen the screenplay.

Hach’s plan for the plot will be an ensemble piece about seven expectant couples. For reference of how this might play out think of last year’s HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. I imagine this film will also feature Jennifer Aniston.

I personally haven’t had any kids yet, so the book on expecting has not been on my list of reads. From what I hear, there are some rather graphic parts of the book. I won’t go into them, but I’m sure you can imagine. I have to wonder if they will include those parts in the movie. Maybe do a little shot of the birth canal like in KNOCKED UP? Regardless of what they add, just expect your Mom to tell you how wonderful it is after it comes out.
