As much as I love horror movies, certain situations freak me out just as much now as they did when I first encountered them. And radiation-twisted humanoids with possible cannibalistic tendencies using children as their lure would most definitely fall into that catagory. 

At the same time I’ll definitely still see CHERNOBYL DIARIES, because there are also certain situations that consistently intrigue me.  The dirty buried secrets of a disaster zone (or just dirty buried secrets in general) being one of them.

Plot recap: The film follows a group of six young vacationers who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…
