Disney is showing a little confidence in their upcoming traditionally animated musical THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG as they’ve moved up its release date from Christmas Day to December 11th with a limited release in New York and LA on November 25th. It was previously gonna go up against Fox’s nauseatingly named sequel ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKUEL but with its spiffy new release, it’ll be going up against Peter Jackson’s drama THE LOVELY BONES. In the film, a young girl named Princess Tiana, who lives in New Orleans’ French Quarter during the Jazz Age, meets a frog and stuff…happens. Look, there’s a princess and there’s a frog and it’s a Disney musical. What else you need to know?
