Whiskey Tango Foxtrot recounts the stories of a journalist and her wartime coverage in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The journalist in question will be portrayed by the charismatic Tina Fey, and she's joined by the likes of Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Alfred Molina and Billy Bob Thornton. By the way, if the thought of Ms. Robbie dropping some F-bombs sounds like it would make your day, let me direct your attention to the latest red-band trailer!
I've always liked Tina Fey, although admittedly, I haven't really loved a lot of the material she's been involved with. The cast here looks like they're having fun, and frankly, you could have Margot Robbie just spout, "F*ck," all day long and I'd be on board. I also don't care how many times I've seen it, but the car scene at the end makes me chuckle every time.
WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT hits theaters on March 4, 2016.
