Red Tails director | Movie News At the tail end of quite an in-depth interview Roger Ebert recently conducted with Spike Lee, the Clint Eastwood antoganizer mentioned that George Lucas has decided not to direct his long-in-the-works drama RED TAILS, his Tuskegee Airmen biopic, and will instead leave that to up and coming director Anthony Hemingway. Lucas will, of course, produce and is looking to get going on it this Spring. He didn't mention anything else beyond that but it's at least good to know that Lucas has decided to be involved in things not prefaced by "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away&hellip:" Unless, of course, he decides to do an adaptation of the recently released video game "The Force Unleashed" because, by all accounts, that game kicks some serious ass.

And where on EARTH is the box with all 6 SW flicks? As much as I hated Jar Jar and the newer trilogy is CLEARLY inferior to the old one... what the hell is taking Georgie so damn long? Force Unleashed is pretty kewl though, although the lazy bastards should've done an original one for the Wii instead of porting it... Ah well, /end rant.

Good
I'd be happy if Lucas never directed anything ever again. He's best films have always been ones he's produced, but didn't direct himself.
