Ridley Scott is still stuck on Noomi Rapace for his Alien Prequel

At the beginning of the month we brought you the news that Noomi Rapace was the front-runner for the ALIEN prequel.

Well as a small update, it looks like the meetings between Ridley Scott and the potential lead actresses are over. Deadline was told that Rapace is still so far the favorite.

Other actresses that reportedly took meetings with Scott were Carey Mulligan, Abbie Cornish, Natalie Portman, and Olivia Wilde. Deadline also states that the studio is heavily involved in this particular casting and Rapace’s English may be a bit of a problem.

Okay, clearly Rapace is the best choice. At least that’s what I think. Let the girl work on her American accent and then start this bitch up. The only other actress I’d want to see is Olivia Wilde. She’s the only one besides Rapace that I wouldn’t laugh at when they tried to act tough.
