Robert Pattinson says he's too old to go back to Twilight
Robert Pattison is 25 years old, and he doesn't think he can play a teenage vampire anymore.
Or that's what he said at the premiere of BEL AMI, when asked if he would return to the series should Stephenie Meyer ever add another novel to the series.
"I'd be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I'd probably be too old," he told reporters after the screening. "I'm already too old. But yeah, it'd be kind of interesting."
Stephenie Meyer has actually written a rough draft of the fifth "Twilight" book, which has been made available on her website after it leaked to the internet. Called "Midnight Sun", it was the same story of "Twilight" told from Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson's character) point of view.
The four movies so far have amassed $2.5 BILLION (!!!) so far, and of course the fifth film is on the way, but you know how those studio execs are when they smell money. It would be interesting to see if the fanbase would tolerate another Edward Cullen for the series, should it ever continue.
