While I'll always hold a special place in my heart for the Disney version of ROBIN HOOD, I'm nonetheless looking forward to seeing what Russell Crowe and director Ridley Scott are able to do with the tale. I know a lot of people were a little down when the trailer came out saying that it just looked like another GLADIATOR. But KINGDOM OF HEAVEN was marketed as another GLADIATOR too but that turned out to be a pretty damn good movie (the Extended Cut anyway).

The first poster for the film is online now courtesy of heyuguys.co.uk. Not sure who those guys are but I'm presuming their fans of GOONIES so they can't be all bad. Check out the poster below and lemme know what you're thinking about this movie.

r u serious? its hard to tell via the interweb. I looked up his IMDB profile and it doesnt say anything about a band. but its not a perfect site. or your full of it. lol

In response to rohan i can only say you must be blind, i'm sure it will be an entertaining movie maybe even good but you cant blame people for making the comparison to gladiator. The trailer looked like scenes from gladiator,the poster does and they even put the word gladiator on the poster. I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE IN THIS LIFE OR THE NEXT, THE NEXT BEING ROBIN WITH THE HOOD

It's not a bad poster. I wish the credits were placed down in the middle like every other poster, but hey it's still a nice poster to me. I am still looking forward to a new poster.

This only confirms it more. He looks exactly like maximus, same pose and look on his face, even the hair is the same, but i dont really mind though if he kills people the same way he did in gladiator i'm all for it. So yes give us a brutal robin hood.
