Rogen & Streisand?
There are a lot of projects out there in Hollywood that become nothing at all other than a great idea (case in point: the Judd Apatow produced Will Ferrell/Sacha Baron Cohen Sherlock Holmes comedy). But sometimes it's fun to check these projects out anyway even if they're not exactly on the fast-track.
Seth Rogen recently spoke to HitFix and revealed a project called MOTHER'S CURSE that would have him co-starring with Barbra Streisand. Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand. Sadly that's about all we know about the film at this point but it's certainly enough to pique my interest (and I'm not even a Babs fan). But before we go and start getting too excited, Rogen says that CURSE is "one of the many projects I may or may not do in the next fifteen years." So it may not happen any time soon and may not happen at all. Or maybe Rogen is just playing it close to the vest and doesn't want to muck up the deal with Streisand. With FUNNY PEOPLE on the way and Rogen's multitude of press responsibilities, you can be sure we'll be hearing more about this in the coming weeks.
|Extra Tidbit:||Babs has a "Truth Alert" segment on her website that is devoted to correcting errors in the media. So far no update on Seth Rogen.|
