Sherlock actor Jonathan Aris may have landed a role in the Star Wars Anthology movie from director Gareth Edwards. STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE was recently added to Aris' bio page over at Spotlight, an official site actors use as a resume, and apparently he'll be playing a character named "Senator Jebel." Although it has since been removed from his page, BBC's Lizo Mzimba took a screenshot of the info, and there's a good chance it is legit, since it was taken down.

Besides playing forensic scientist Dr. Anderson on the BBC series, Aris has also starred in movies like THE WORLD'S END and GULLIVER'S TRAVELS, and will appear as Brendan Hatch in Ridley Scott's THE MARTIAN, which will be in theaters later this year.

If true, Jonathan Aris will star alongside the officially cast Felicity Jones in the film, and it might also feature the talents of Forest Whitaker, Ben Mendelsohn, Sam Clafin, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed. The first of three planned spinoffs is set between Episodes III and IV, and will follow a group of resistance fighters who attempt to steal the Death Star plans.

STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE is set to open on December 16, 2016.
